Ooh, look a full page! That’s what happens when you need some exposition going pretty quick. 30 days isn’t a very long time to tell a story, you know. Damn cat piss storm.

Seriously. Cat piss storm plague. Worst. Plague. Ever. Today’s post forthcoming.
This guy should’ve shown up DAYS AGO, but if you’re not planning things out in advance, at some point (day 9) you decide your hero and already you have to waste another day to slowly bring him in to the story. Doing 30 Days of Creativity as a comic has reminded me how desperately I need to edit myself. Yes, I’m making it up as I go along, but it really highlights how rambling I can be. I’m definitely a “no hurry” conversationalist writer and that’s so anti-climactic for this media. Recognizing these things, obviously, is the only step towards improvement, and I have a laundry list of things I want to improve. Oh well. hey, look, TWENTY MORE DAYS OF THIS NONSENSE!
Also, as a constant reminder – I have a set for these dudes on my flickr, that makes them 100% easier to read through.
Sorry, about getting these posted afterwards. I’m “prioritizing” uploading these on my tumblr, for no good reason. So here’s Day 8 (two days late)
Terrible girl face. I have a really stylized male form I HAPPILY draw with – and since I’m telling a story that unintentionally is completely devoid of women I haven’t gotten my lady chops very strong. I also wanted to do a more realistic female for this thing and I think it was being untrue to myself. Or, at least, I can’t draw lady eyes. Ugh.
Day 6 of 30. Look at that explosion, man. Something totally crashed? What is it? i don’t know! Somebody? Something? A giant acorn? I can’t tell you.
Again, you can see these elsewhere on my flickr and my tumblr. I know. It’s redundant since you’re already looking here, but I made a sweet flickr set so that you would be able to read them in order.
